I had a luncheon with a group of
Bruneians at The Asian Cafe, Horizon Hotel recently and snapped some pictures
of the food and the rooms. This hotel is quite new and its location is very
very strategic. Close to banks, shopping malls, shops, restaurants and popular
tourist attractions such as Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal, Gaya Street Sunday
Market, Kota Kinabalu Handicraft Centre etc. The rooms are spacious,
comfortable and reasonably priced. This hotel have 14 floor with 180 rooms overlooking the city and sea view.
The uniqueness of each room of this hotel, the wall are decorated with picture
of major tourist attraction in Sabah. Now Horizon Hotel is in the
midst of obtaining their 4 star rating from the ministry of Tourism. Have a look at these pictures..

These are the only ones I managed to snap before it disappeared within minutes that day..hehe. The rest were 'attacked' as soon as it was being served on the table... According to Ms. Shirley, SM, Set Lunch is only RM 28 ++ per person and it includes several type of dish..quite reasonable and worth it. As for the rooms, I will be posting them later..quite sleepy..yawnnn..Till then.. |
